The team you’ll be part of
Cloud and Network Services
As Nokia's growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models. Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible.
We are looking for Coop Software Developer to join our new, dynamic team of talented professionals to create an innovative, industry-leading, automated security SaaS offering Cybersecurity Dome (Automated Defense Center), and to define the automated procedures for immediate response to Emergencies or for detection and response to Mobile network infrastructure attacks.
Education Recommendations:
Currently a candidate for Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering or related field with an accredited school in Canada.
What you will learn and contribute to:
• Participating in an Agile team responsible for the specification, design, development and testing of the product.
  • Working with senior developers to put in place the automated procedures
  • Writing and executing unit tests
  • Fixing defects
What is Nokia looking for from me:
You have:
  • Strong ability to learn new concepts and technology
  • Working knowledge of Java and Javascript and unit tests automation tools (Junit, Jest)
  • Knowledge in Docker, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Helm, Containerized Applications, Microservices
It would be nice if you also had:
  • Good understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
  • Excellent interpersonal/team skills
